Attadale pool deck replacement

A 24m² pool surround in Attadale replacing a rotting timber deck that had reached the end of its life. The brief was simple — modern, aesthetic, maintenance-free — and Evalast Pioneer in Spotted Gum tone delivered all three with the most realistic timber look on the composite market. The original subframe came up with the boards: no clearance, corroded fixings, none of it fit to take a new premium composite. We rebuilt from the ground up with H4 bearers and joists and stainless steel stirrups given the proximity to the pool.
